Well, there's a mountain on the bottle,
But it's coming from the tap
Take the water that you own and they sell it right back
It's a citizen subsidized company infrastructure
Coca Cola, Nestle, and Pepsi working capital wonders
On the backs of the people at the forces to mow us all under

It's the commodified necessities
You'd never understand the complexities.
Somebody call up the doctor
Cancer's up, mental illness is up
Drink your water

There's a reservoir of water, a municipal station.
There's pumps and there's pipes and the taxes you're paying
And there's billions of bottles and three bucks a pop
Full of a pennies worth of water that you already bought
Ask any fish and he'll tell you blub blub is fantastic
See turtles wearing necklaces
Starving with a gut full of plastic

It's the commodified necessities

In drought and in fire and natural disaster
They keep making the bottles going faster and faster
Filling the sky with their formaldehyde
All the while they got the gall to tell me and you
