Hailing from Westfield, New Jersey, Bobby Steinfeld is a keyboard player who strives to bring a focused cohesion of style and tone into whatever musical situation he finds himself in.
After studying classical piano his whole childhood, he made a conscious decision when he got to college to pivot his skills and teach himself jazz chords, blues licks, sound design; to hone the toolkit of a “keyboardist” rather than a “pianist.” Bobby moved to Nashville in 2017 (after two years as a middle school band director) to test his mettle in music city and see if he could find a place within its rich tapestry of performers. Now a full time keyboardist, Bobby has played and toured with a stylistically diverse roster of artists, including Phillip Phillips, Parker Millsap, Harper O’neill, Arts Fishing Club, and more.
