Dead Diplomats

Lyrics

outside the jewish museum
in Washington DC
a chicago man pulled out a gun
he shot a young man named Yaron
a young lady named Sarah
and made no attempt to run

they died on the ground
as he entered the building
and gave himself up to the guards
he shouted free palestine
as he's cuffed from behind
and now he's alive behind bars

now Yaron and Sarah are together in death
before they could be wedded in life
and more people will die
out in Palestine
for justice is blood in this fight

and out in the strip
a younger soldier hears word
of a couple that will not be wed
and as he takes aim
he's got someone to blame
for the women and children all dead

and eye for an eye
till we're all good and blind
what more is there really to see
it's. a big teeter-totter
of violence and slaughter
and the recess bell never rings
