What is this community?

Jesse Welles World is a fan-built home for people who love Jesse Welles—his music, lyrics, and the message behind the songs. The profiles, comments, and contributions here exist so we can celebrate shows, swap honest enthusiasm, and connect as fans. We’re not affiliated with Jesse or his team in an official capacity; we’re a community united by shared appreciation. By creating an account, you’re joining that spirit.

What membership is for

Joining isn’t just a login—it’s a way to take part: saving favorites, remembering shows you’ve been to, seeing your own personalized show stats, commenting on content, and adding reactions to others’ comments.

You can also help build the site together—contribute lyric annotations, show notes, and setlist photos.

Finally, enjoy the Powerlines Jukebox. A music player to queue songs from across the site and keep music playing while you browse. We ask you to use those features in the same spirit as the rest of these guidelines: be honest, be kind, and don’t use the community’s tools to spam, mislead, or make the space worse for anyone else. This creates a custom and dynamic playlist of songs played via YouTube (and ads are not from the site but from YouTube—ad credit goes to the content creator).

What you’re agreeing to

This site is for music, shows, and people who care about that type of stuff. By creating a profile, you agree to keep things respectful and on-topic. We’re not running a courtroom; we’re trying to keep the space good for everyone—including Jesse and the people who show up here in good faith.

Be kind

Don’t bully, harass, threaten, or pile on. No slurs, hate speech, or targeting people for who they are. If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face at a show—or if you wouldn’t want Jesse saying it to you in front of a crowd—think twice before you type it.

A simple frame: treat others the way you’d like to be treated, or the way you’d hope Jesse’s community would treat you. Disagreement is fine; cruelty isn’t.

Keep it real (not spammy)

Fake accounts, scams, relentless self-promotion, or anything that feels like noise instead of community doesn’t belong. Profiles, comments, and other content on the site are subject to these guidelines.

Help us keep it clean: reporting

You’re part of this. When something looks off, we’d rather you say something than assume someone else will.

A user’s interactions typically link back to their profile. Just click their name or profile image to see their profile.

When you’re logged in and viewing another member’s public profile, scroll to the Contributions section and use Community Alert → “Flag for review” when a profile looks spammy, misleading, or inappropriate. That sends it to the site admins for review. It’s there so we can spot problems faster—you’re not snitching; you’re helping keep the fan space healthy.

What can happen if guidelines are broken?

We try to be fair, but we don’t owe anyone a debate or a trial. If something is offensive, abusive, spammy, or harmful to the community, site admins may:

  • Remove or edit specific content or profile material
  • Hide or remove a profile from public view
  • Suspend or delete an account

Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate removal of your access, your profile, or your contributions. We may take action without advance notice when we need to protect the site or other members.

We don’t guarantee that we’ll preserve your account or content if we have to remove you for breaking these rules.

Your choices

You’re not stuck. You can delete your own account anytime from your profile settings if you’re done here. Reporting is optional, but appreciated when you see behavior that breaks these guidelines.

Thanks for being here

We’re glad you’re here. Let’s keep it fun, safe, and a little weird—in the good way.
