Eclipse Tune

I stared up at the eclipse
Hoping that my eyes would burn out
Cause I done seen enough, I get the gist
of what it's all about.

You'll skip over a lot of folks
On the way up into town,
But you'll see them all again,
And say hello all in the long ride down.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away
So naturally I ate three.
They were full of rare earth metals
Mined at gunpoint by the Congolese.

And I thought that I'd be fine,
But now I'm choking on the seeds.
The best things here are imported
From the South to the North to the West to the East -
